After graduating from the business administration program at York University, where she majored in accounting and management, Luda Gelfund gained valuable experience in full cycle and cost accounting as an accountant at a mid-sized marketing firm. Looking to work in public accounting, Luda joined a real estate tax group at KPMG LLP, where she worked for three years before deciding to leverage her strong interpersonal and business skills by entering the world of recruiting. Since joining Lannick Finance & Accounting in 2006, Luda has successfully matched dozens of high-calibre candidates with companies.
When Luda is not working with her candidates, she enjoys traveling and sampling new cuisines.
“My approach has always been to treat each person with respect, get to know what's important to them, understand their parameters and desires and then work hard to find them the right opportunity. It's great to get notes or other tokens of appreciation from my candidates after I’ve placed them in the right role.”
