For Immediate Release - April 13, 2010 Contact: Alison Hope, Director, Marketing & Communications Lannick Group Recognized as Great Place to Work® Toronto, Canada, April 9, 2010 - Lannick Group – a firm dedicated to helping people and organizations find “the right fit” – is being recognized today as a Best Workplace in Canada. This is the third time Lannick has made the prestigious Best Workplaces list, compiled by the Great Place to Work® Institute Canada. The list, and related stories, will appear in a special national report today in The Globe and Mail. In the words of one Lannick Group employee who responded to the Best Workplaces Trust Index survey, which comprises part of the Institute’s assessment: “There is a sense of generosity and egalitarianism at Lannick Group which comes from the top. People are empowered and encouraged and equipped to act.” According to Lannick Group President & CEO Peter Jeewan, “When it comes to creating a great place to work, it all begins with the people you hire. The right fit means everything – to the success of an organization and the life of an individual. We do our best at Lannick Group to practice what we preach to our clients and candidates.” The list of “Best Workplaces in Canada” competition process is based on two criteria: two-thirds of the total score comes from a 57-statement survey (Trust Index) completed by a random selection of employees, along with their open-ended comments about their organization; the remaining one-third of the score comes from an in-depth review of the organization’s culture, including an evaluation of HR policies and procedures. This offers a rigorous representation of the organization from an employee perspective, and an overall portrait of the workplace culture. Together, they provide crucial data relative to the five trust-building dimensions of a great place to work®: credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie. This year’s list received over 200 nominations and approximately 41,000 employees (actual
number is 40,621) participated in the 2010 “Best Workplaces in Canada” survey.
